Representing Individuals and Businesses for More than 10 Years
Samantha Sherman practices exclusively in family law, representing clients in matters involving divorce, custody, parenting time, child support, domestic violence, and post-decree disputes. She brings a balanced approach to every case—combining assertive advocacy with a deep understanding of the emotional and legal complexities families face. Samantha draws on experience handling high-conflict custody issues, negotiating settlements, drafting parenting plans, and preparing clients for hearings and trial.
Since earning her law degree from the University of North Dakota School of Law, Samantha has worked in a variety of legal settings that have shaped her courtroom skills and case strategy. At the Burleigh County State’s Attorney’s Office, she handled criminal prosecutions, prepared legal filings, and assisted in trial preparation. She has also clerked for judges in the Northeast and Northwest Judicial Districts, gaining insight into judicial decision-making in both criminal and civil cases. During law school, she served as a student attorney for the Innocence Project, where she worked on post-conviction appeals and motions for DNA testing in wrongful conviction cases.
Samantha’s background also includes a Master’s in International Relations from King’s College London and a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from North Dakota State University, where she graduated cum laude. She remains committed to equitable access to justice, particularly for families navigating crisis or transition, and brings that commitment to her work every day at Two Rivers Law.
