BOGUS ASSAULT CHARGES DISMISSED

Attorney David Cox obtained a dismissal of 5th Degree Domestic Assault charges filed against a woman whose sibling falsely accused her of attacking her at a family function. The police failed to interview an eye witness – the victim’s own mother – who stated that the alleged victim was in fact the aggressor in the incident and that no assault occurred.
